Entrepreneurs have choices about the kind of company they want to create. The well-known VC route requires ceding some control for some investment funding. In partnership with the Beyster Institute at UC San Diego’s Rady School, this workshop outlines other choices that employee ownership can provide. By sharing equity ownership with the rest of the company’s team, entrepreneurs can gain critical advantages that help the company grow on the founders’ terms. SAIC is one great example; there are now many more. Registration at the door begins at 7:30 a.m.; more information and online registration is available here.
