BuyWithMe, a group buying startup founded in Boston and based in New York, said today it has acquired Chicago-based DealADayOnline to expand its reach in the city. BuyWithMe, which has raised about $21.5 million in funding, said its service operates in 13 major cities in the U.S. and that it plans to hit twice that amount by the end of this year. Just two months ago the company bought LocalTwist, a daily deals site focused on Seattle and San Diego.
