The UC San Diego Center for Resuscitation Science has developed a novel resuscitation paradigm that has doubled survival both in and out of the hospital, representing one of the few bright spots in resuscitation science over the past several decades. In addition, the center has fostered relationships with industry to create new sensor technology, improve the existing interface between rescuers and monitors, and develop innovative educational applications.
