We are getting ready this afternoon to head over to the Koch Institute for Xconomy’s biggest life sciences event of the year, “The Genetics Institute Impact.”
This event, a reunion of one of Boston’s pioneering biotech companies, is sold out, with more than 275 people registered. We expect standing room only in the back, and a packed, lively house for networking. We have an ensemble cast of speakers lined up, a cool memorabilia display ready, and I’ll quickly run through a timeline of major events in GI history. We’re also going to dust off an old company promo video (in VHS format, of course), which you can check out in the lobby.
Registration and networking starts at 4:30 pm. The program starts at 5:30 pm, and I’ll work to keep things short and sweet so there’s plenty of time for catching up with old friends. See you there this afternoon at the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, at 500 Main Street in Cambridge.
