The annual Science & Technology Forum organized by the Sino-American Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Professionals’ Association (SABPA) will focus this year on new frontiers in cancer research. Topics include translational medicine, pharmacogenetics, personalized medicine, epigenetics, cancer stem cells, preclinical models, and oncology clinical design. Opportunities and challenges present in cancer drug development in San Diego life science communities are going to be addressed at the meeting, such as industry/academic collaboration; cancer clinical trials and venture capital funding.
