“On June 21st, the brightest minds in California located outside the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and San Diego will gather at the Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, CA, to showcase their best innovations and compete for the “Most Innovative Product of the Year” in the following industry sectors: cleantech & environemntal, healthcare & medical, agriculture & food, Web & software, manufacturing & high tech.
The Sierra Nevada Innovation Challenge serves as the public launch for products emerging from non-metro California—a “first look” for investors, customers, media, policymakers, major corporations and international trade purveyors.
Keynote speakers worth the price of admission alone! Ken Grossman, the founder of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., will address the guests at our Gala Awards Ceremony in the Sierra Nevada Big Room. Victor Wang, author of “The Rainforest” details the role of the innovator in the complicated and interconnected 21st Century global economy. Chris Friedland, the founder and CEO of Build.com, will speak at lunch on his own journey from garage-based start-up to leading the 2nd largest online home-improvement retailer in the world.
