We’re gearing up for Mobile Madness Motor City, Xconomy’s first mobile event in Detroit.
As the mobile tech sector continues to heat up, how will devices and applications be more seamlessly integrated into our cars, our jobs, and our lifestyles? What are Michigan’s unique opportunities to participate in and capitalize on this transformation?
We’ll cover all of that and more during our half-day forum tomorrow at the Compuware Building downtown.
Mobile Madness Motor City has a top-notch lineup of speakers that includes serial entrepreneurs, young founders of startups, visionaries, leaders inside global corporations, and investors.
Most have roots in Detroit or a strong connection to the city, but we’ve also invited a few special guests from around the Xconomy network.
Josh Linkner, bestselling author, founder and former CEO of ePrize, and managing partner of Detroit Venture Partners, will deliver the keynote speech about mobile technology in Detroit. Sheryl Connelly, Ford’s manager of global trends, will discuss three trends that will change the world. Eric Giler, CEO of the Watertown, MA-based WiTricity, has an exciting presentation about a future without wires. Ann Marie Sastry, president and CEO of Sakti3, will discuss energy storage and the consumer electronics industry.
In addition, we’ll have panel discussions about why enterprises need to go mobile, connected cars, and app strategies. We like to keep these group chats a little faster and livelier than some you’ve seen, drawing out insights from our guests and leaving room for attendees to ask some questions as well. We’ll also hear from local startups in the mobile space such as UpTo, iRule, and the Detroit Bus Company.
