In a major acquisition that expands its reach across North America, Norwell, MA-based waste management company Clean Harbors (NYSE: [[ticker:CLH]]) said today that it has agreed to acquire Edmonton, Alberta-based Eveready Inc. The Canadian firm provides maintenance, lodging, and exploration services to a range of companies in the oil and gas, chemicals, paper, manufacturing, and power generation businesses. Clean Harbors said it will pay $387 million for Eveready using a combination of cash, stock, and assumed debt.
