Wolfram, Pentland, Chang, Hirschtick, Lynch, Rae. Big Data, Connected Devices, the Cloud, Security, Analytics. They are all part of a fantastic lineup of people and topics on tap for D2: The Future of Data and Devices, Xconomy’s half-day forum that will take place in downtown Boston on the afternoon of November 21.

And now the full agenda has been posted, so you can see just how things will go down, and in what manner and format, starting with the opening keynote by computer scientist Stephen Wolfram.

Here are just a few of the things that will be covered:

The Data Explosion: Business or Personal? This keynote chat, moderated by Xconomy Boston editor Greg Huang, features Atlas Venture’s Chris Lynch and Brian Shin, CEO of Visible Measures.

Building Startups to Scale. Chat/Debate/Brain-picking session with Wayne Chang, Co-founder of Crashlytics and now General Manager, Twitter, and Ben Einstein, Managing Director of Bolt (the accelerator for hardware startups). Their dynamic moderator: Katie Rae, Managing Director, Techstars Boston.

Cloud Data and Design Disruption: Lightning panel featuring Hardi Meybaum, CEO of GrabCAD; Salsify co-founder Rob Gonzalez; and Jon Hirschtick, chairman of Belmont Technology and founder of SolidWorks. Their moderator: Michael Skok, General Partner, North Bridge Venture Partners.

The Future of Content and Connectivity: Closing fireside chat with legendary MIT Media Lab professor Sandy Pentland with R.R. Donnelley CEO Tom Quinlan.

We’ve got a lot more on tap. The event takes place on Nov. 21 (one week before Thanksgiving), at the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology, right next door to South Station in Boston, so it’s super convenient. Besides the great speakers, we’ll have plenty of time for networking and discussion.
