The University of Michigan and Detroit Future City are seeking ways to improve transportation access for Detroit residents through a multidisciplinary, team-based student competition. Graduate students will collaborate to develop solutions that increase connectivity for Detroiters in three high-vacancy neighborhoods. Finalists will present their ideas to a panel; the winning team will receive $2,500 and the opportunity to have their solution implemented. Former Detroit mayor Ken Cockrel Jr. will deliver the keynote speech. For more information, click here.
