Panel discussions and parties. “Meatups” and Mario Kart. SXSW Interactive aimed to have a little something for everyone. And considering that more than 30,000 people came to downtown Austin for this year’s festival, the variety is probably a good thing. She has a Bachelor's of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, and she is a 2007 Knight-Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan. With the launch of Xconomy Texas, she's returned to her hometown of Houston.
