Ann Arbor SPARK, the nonprofit business development organization that offers incubation services to tech-based startups, has announced its FastTrack awards to recognize companies in the region that have demonstrated consistent growth. To be eligible for a FastTrack award, companies were required to have revenue of at least $100,000 in 2010, with an annual growth rate of 20 percent for the following three years.
Without further ado, the winners are:
—TekWissen, an innovation and technology services company that helps commercialize and develop products and services for the connected world.
—Sungrace Software, which transforms software, manufacturing, and engineering and procurement companies with streamlined, technology-enabled services.
—FAAC, a supplier of accurate high-speed weapon system simulations.
—Human Element, working on branding, e-commerce, search engine optimization, custom tech applications, and intranet projects.
—Image Data Conversion, specializing in converting images from paper to film and digital and converting content—including newspapers, magazines and documents—to searchable text and PDF formats.
—InfoReady, developer of KnowSpace software, which brings large amounts of information into one manageable interface for businesses and organizations, allowing better collaboration and management.
—CEI Composite Materials, provider of architectural metal panel systems and components for the commercial construction industry.
—McCreadie Group, developer of software for pharmacies and specializing in pharmacy clinical documentation, Investigational Drug Service management, and pharmacy education.
—Arbormoon Software, which specializes in planning, strategy, design and development on smartphones, tablets, and other devices.
—Estrakon, an advanced LED lighting company that provides products for retail operations.
—Oxford Companies, a full-service real estate office.
—Caelynx, a consultancy focused on computer-aided engineering.
—MedHub, provider of managed IT services for large academic teaching hospitals worldwide, including the University of Michigan, Duke University, Stanford University, University of Washington, and University of Wisconsin.
—LLamasoft, developer of supply-chain design software and services to large organizations.
—Online Tech, operator of Midwestern data centers that ensure availability of Internet services, complying with government and industry regulations, even after a disaster.
