Argos Therapeutics Names Lee Allen Chief Medical Officer

Lee Allen has joined Argos Therapeutics (NASDAQ: [[ticker:ARGS]]) as the drug developer’s chief medical officer. Allen joins Durham, NC-based Argos as the company continues late-stage clinical trials on a cancer immunotherapy, AGS-003, in kidney cancer. Allen most recently served as chief medical officer for Nevada-based cancer drug company Spectrum Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: [[ticker:SPPI]]). His experience also includes executive positions with AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Wyeth Reseach, Pfizer, and BASF’s Knoll Pharmaceuticals.
