OurStage, a Chemsford, MA-based provider of an online community and marketplace for music, has raised $3 million of a planned $6 million Series B round of venture capital, the firm told Xconomy in an e-mail last week. Mass High Tech reported details of the firm’s Series B round earlier this morning. OurStage, founded in 2006, previously raised $17 million in a 2007 Series A round of financing. The company told MHT that its backers include more than 100 angel investors and venture firm Signature Capital, which has operations in Portland, ME, and Austin, TX, according to the VC outfit’s website.
