Quanterix, a Cambridge, MA-based developer of single-molecule analysis technology for use in cancer and other disease diagnostics, said today that it has named David Okrongly its new CEO. Nicholas Naclerio, founding CEO of the startup, will continue to serve as its chairman. Okrongly was most recently a senior vice president in the molecular diagnostics unit of Siemens. Luke recently caught up with Quanterix scientific founder David Walt about the Tufts University chemistry professor’s success in creating value for life sciences investors, among other topics.
