HaloSource Expands Into China

HaloSource, the Bothell, WA-based developer of low-cost water purification technology for the developing world, said today it has opened an office and factory in Shanghai to commercialize and further develop its technology in China. The office will be led by Joseph Chen. The company has already made significant headway in India, where more than 200,000 water purifiers have been sold that use the company’s proprietary method for killing bacteria and viruses, through a partnership with Eureka Forbes, we reported back in July.
