Camiant, a Marlborough, MA-based developer of technology that manages applications on mobile and broadband networks, will be acquired by Morrisville, NC-based mobile data management company Tekelec for $130 million, the companies announced today. The deal with Camiant, whose website lists its investors as North Bridge Venture Partners, Matrix Partners, and Pilot House Ventures, is expected to close within a week. Tekelec also acquired Montreal, Canada-based subscriber data management company Blueslice Networks for $35 million, a transaction that closed May 5.
