Thanks to everyone who made yesterday’s Xconomy event on how information technology can transform medicine into such a smash hit. We had a full house at the Frye Art Museum’s auditorium; a cast of dynamic speakers with diverse perspectives on health IT; a highly interactive panel discussion; and a fascinating duo of visionaries from the world of research (Stephen Friend, founder and president of Sage Bionetworks) and clinical care (Rod Hochman, CEO of Swedish Medical Center). Quite a few people raved to me personally about how they had a good time.
I went through a few slides at the beginning of the program to thank all the people and organizations that played key roles, and it’s worth repeating here.
