Vaccines are a hot topic right now. Everyone, from Barack Obama to Jenny Garth, is talking about them. Seattle has a number of organizations dedicated to finding effective, safe vaccines that can be delivered to the developing world.
The Washington Global Health Alliance is organizing a panel discussion to talk about what’s happening in the local vaccine scene. The panel includes Kathy Neuzil, director of PATH’s Influenza Vaccine Project, Lawrence Corey of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Stefan Kappe of Seattle Biomedical Research Institute, and Franco Piazza of Infectious Disease Research Institute.
