Taris Biomedical, a Lexington, MA-based developer of drug-device combo products for bladder conditions, reported this morning that it has hired Sarma Duddu to be its president and chief executive. Duddu was most recently a general manager and vice president of drug delivery at Cima Labs, a subsidiary of the Frazer, PA-based drugmaker Cephalon (NASDAQ:[[ticker:CEPH]]). In December, Luke wrote that the MIT spinoff Taris was in mid-stage clinical trials for a drug delivery device and treatment for painful bladder syndrome.
