Chris Smith is the founder and CEO of Area360, a mobile experience company that enhances the way people engage with physical locations through the use of mobile applications and location-aware technology. In 2012, he founded STQRY (now a part of Area360), an interactive mobile storytelling platform used by over 400 culture and arts organizations internationally. His first startup, Dash Tickets, quickly became one of the largest New Zealand-based ticketing companies and was sold to the Ministry of Sound in 2011. He has also worked as a web application developer at Microsoft.
