Ida Deichaite is director of industry relations at Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health. She organizes the center’s annual translational oncology symposium, which began in 2004 and has resulted in numerous fruitful collaborations between faculty and industry. She also is a member of the UC San Diego Innovation Advisory Board, and an editor of the Journal of Translational Medicine. She was previously at Avanir Pharmaceuticals, a biotech developing new therapies for diseases and disorders of the central nervous system.
