Olin Hyde is the founder and CEO of Englue, a San Diego-based artificial intelligence software company focused on business-to-business lead generation and national security markets. He is one of the principal architects of the company's DeepFind™ machine learning platform. He wrote his first line of code at age 12 on a home-built computer. Since then, he has started eight companies.
Hyde grew up in Tidewater Virginia and the Appalachian mountains of Pennsylvania. He moved to San Diego in 2006 after living in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and traveling to more than 40 countries around the world. He holds a Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Studies in Mathematics, Economics, and Marketing from Miami University (Ohio) and a Masters of Advanced Studies in Architecture-based Enterprise Systems Engineering from UC San Diego.
Hyde also is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and he has appeared in numerous independent films, commercials, and plays.
