Xtalic Adds $8M

Xtalic, a Marlborough, MA-based maker of nanostructured alloy coatings for electronics components, has raised $8 million in equity-based funding, according to an SEC filing. The funding comes from eight investors, according to the document. In 2008 Xtalic raised $10 million in Series B funding, with investments from North Bridge Venture Partners and Matrix Partners.
