The FDA has approved a new form of the opioid oxycodone, which was developed by New York-based Pfizer (NYSE: [[ticker:PFE]]) and Palatine, IL-based Acura Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: [[ticker:ACUR]]), according to a press release.
