Robert Nelsen, a managing director with Arch Venture Partners in Seattle, has been elected to the board of the National Venture Capital Association, according to an NVCA statement. Nelsen was elected to a four-year term as one of five new directors on the board. Kate Mitchell of Scale Venture Partners is also replacing Terry McGuire of Polaris Venture Partners as the new board chairman.
